The 5th World Conference of the Spatial Econometrics Association (SEA) has the objective to bring together economists, econometricians and regional scientists to discuss the present achievements and future challenges and opportunities in spatial data analysis.

The conference is organized by the Econometrics & Statistics group of the Toulouse School of Economics (TSE) at Toulouse Capitole University. The conference will take place from July 6 to July 8, 2011 at the "Manufacture des Tabacs".

The 2011 edition of the world conference is held in Toulouse to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the french series of workshop entitled: "Spatial Econometrics and Statistics Workshop".

SEA Event: SEA organizes yearly the Spatial Econometrics Advanced Institute, a 4-weeks summer course. The 4th edition will take place in Rome from May 16th to June 10th 2011. Details will be soon available at the website http://www.spatialeconometricsadvancedinstitute.org/
